the High School is a Christian, college-preparatory, co-educational day school located in Rockford, Illinois. The High School mission is to provide the best for all aspects of the high school experience; educationally, athletically, artistically and socially. The School prides itself on being able to provide students with excellent opportunities in which they can learn and grow. The school enrolls approximately 200 students with 15 of those students being from countries outside the United States. The School welcomes applications from international students! Students from around the globe have attended: Germany, Brazil, South Korea, Thailand, Finland, Holland, China, Vietnam, Syria, and Mexico. We offer classes designed especially for international students which will help them to not only have a successful high school experience but will also prepare students to continue their studies at American Universities. These classes include ESL, a comprehensive grammar and writing class, and TOEFL Exam preparation.
L O C A T I O N
The School is located in Rockford Illinois, about one hour west of Chicago. Rockford is a mid-sized city with many amenities, restaurants, hotels and shops. The climate for Rockford is seasonal. There are about 144 days each year when the temperature drops below freezing. Snowfall is 36 inches per year, winter temperature is 19.5 degrees F and summer temperature is 74 degrees F.

Students at Rockford Christian School are encourage to demonstrate traits of a leader by making appropriate dress and appearance choices. Students are required to wear plain white, loose-fitting oxford-style/dress, button-down shirts/blouses, loose-fitting, polo shirts in navy, hunter green or white.
H O U S I N G
Students attending the school will be placed with carefully selected host families in Rockford and neighboring communities. A school coordinator will be appointed to oversee the student and the host family for the duration of the students? stay in the United States.
