This school is an independent Christian, co-educational day school located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Academically, students are prepared in all grades for life-long learning. Students are encouraged to take leadership roles in their world with confidence, and opportunities are provided for positive group interaction in almost every discipline, every day. Capistrano Valley Christian enrolls approximately 260 students grades 9-12 each academic year with 28 of those students being from countries outside the United States.

This school is located about one hour south of Los Angeles and one hour north of San Diego in beautiful Orange County, only 5 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. The climate in this area is one of the most beautiful in the world with year round temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius. Students will be in the suburban Orange County community where they can enjoy the beach community.

Students at this school are required to wear uniforms, which can be purchased upon arrival. Girls' uniforms consist of a plaid skirt, short or long-sleeved yellow oxford shirt, navy blue uniform slacks, red monogrammed sweater, blue monogrammed sweater, fleece, and jacket. The boys' uniforms include monogrammed khaki pants and short or long-sleeved navy blue polo shirt, blue sweatshirt, fleece, and jacket.
H O U S I N G
Students will be placed with carefully selected host families in and around the Jacksonville area. A local contact person will be appointed to supervise the student and the host family for the duration of the student’s stay in the United States.
