This Portland school is a co-educational high school, having a strong affiliation with the Lutheran Church. The school was
established in 1905 and is now a well-recognized private high school within the Portland community. The high school prides itself on its high academic and ethical standards. The school educates students in grades 7-12. Approximately 175 students enroll each year, with 30 of these students being from countries other than the United States.

The 10-acre high school campus is located in a suburban area of Portland, Oregon.
Portland is a fast growing city, with a population of approximately 750,000. Oregon, located on the west coast of the United States, is known for its natural beauty. Students who attend have the opportunity to take advantage of living in a large city, while at the same time being able to participate in a number of outdoor activities.

H O U S I N G
Students attending this Portland school will be placed with carefully screened and selected host families. A school coordinator interviews and selects each family. The coordinator is involved with the student and the host family
throughout the program.

Boys may participate in the following interscholastic sports: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Soccer, Track, and Volleyball.
Girls may participate in the following interscholastic sports: Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Track, and Volleyball.
