This private school is situated on 60 acres of property in Cooksville, Maryland, a neighbor of downtown Baltimore. In addition, Cooksville is also located about an hour from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where there are tours of actual Civil War battlefields and monuments. In addition, Cooksville is just under an hour from the nation's capitol, Washington, D.C. There, tourists can visit the Smithsonian Museum, the famous Washington Monument, and receive guided tours of the White House. Cooksville, Maryland enjoys the traditional four (4) seasons per year. The winters are cold, with temperatures dropping as low as 10º Fahrenheit, while the summers are very warm, as temperatures can rise to as much as 95º Fahrenheit.
