This private Michigan school is a Christian, co-educational day school located in Holland, Michigan. The mission is to equip minds and nurture hearts in order to transform the world. The school is a member of the Legionary system of schools, which embraces the philosophy of Integral Formation. This private school enrolls approximately 320 students each year, of which 12 are students from countries outside of the United States.

This private school is located in the beautiful and quiet city of Holland, Michigan, on the western side of the state, next to Lake Michigan. The population of the small town is approximately 35,000 people. Known for its Dutch heritage, it also hosts a number of universities and colleges, including Hope College, Calvin College, University of Michigan, and Michigan State University. When residents of the town and tourists, as well, are not attending a festival, they can enjoy Wednesday night sailboat races, museum and gallery openings, boutique shopping, and excellent dining. Holland experiences all four (4) seasons. In the early fall and late spring, temperature are in the 50s and 60s. By late fall, winter coats may be worn. In the winter, the low temperatures are in the teens and there is accumulating snow.

The private Michigan school requires its students to comply with a dress code. Dress guidelines for girls include: shirts and dresses with a modest neckline that extend to the knee or below; no bare midriffs; blouses and shirts must be tucked in at all times; shorts must extend to within six inches from the top of the knee; plain leggings and/or tights are not permitted. The dress guidelines for boys are: pants that must be worn in such a manner that undergarments shall not be visible regardless of movement. Additional guidelines for all students include: clothing must not be torn, ripped, have holes, be transparent, be sleeveless, have an open back or sides; tank tops are never permitted, unless worn under a sleeved shirt; words on clothing may not be offensive or promote musical groups or artists, and may not imply or condone references to drugs, alcohol, violence, or sex; athletic shorts are prohibited; hats, caps, or sweatshirt hoods are not to be worn in the classroom.

Students attending this private Michigan school will be placed with carefully selected host families in and around the Holland area. A local contact person will be appointed to oversee the student and the host family for the duration of the student's stay in the United States.
