Orlando Magic, the NBA basketball team, originates here, and annually, two (2) NCAA College Football games are played in Orlando. The climate in Lake Mary is known to be sub-tropical, and is divided into two (2) seasons: the warm season, with high temperatures and humidity, and the cool season, which is typically temperate and comfortable.

Students at this private Florida school are required to wear uniforms, which can be purchased at the school store located on campus. Boys' uniforms consist of khaki or black pants or shorts. Polo shirts are required with color choices, including burgundy, gray, and white. Girls' uniforms consist of khaki or black pants, shorts, skorts, skirts, or Capri pants. Polo shirts must be worn, and the color choices are the same as the boys' color choices. Students must wear belts if their pants have belt loops, and shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Students attending this private Florida school will be placed with carefully selected host families in and around the Lake Mary or Orlando area. A local contact person will be appointed to oversee each student and host family for the duration of the student's stay in the United States.
