(BJS) is a Catholic, co-educational college-preparatory day school located in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 2002, the school's mission is the formation of young men and women of competence, conscience, compassion, and faith. With accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and membership in the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA), BJS enrolls approximately 500 students each year, with enrollment continually increasing. Currently, five (5) students come from countries outside of the United States.

BJS is located in Jacksonville, Florida, which has a population of approximately 800,000 and sits on the northeast coast of the state. Jacksonville is home to the NFL's professional football team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. Annually, Jacksonville hosts the Gator Bowl, a college football game, accompanied by parties, ceremonies, and parades before the big game. Residents of Jacksonville are less than 15 minutes from beautiful beaches, as well as various museums, planetariums, and shopping centers. Temperatures range from 45 Fahrenheit in the winter to 90 in the summer.

Students at BJS are required to wear uniforms, which can be purchased upon arrival. Girls' uniforms consist of a plaid skirt, short or long-sleeved yellow oxford shirt, navy blue uniform slacks, red monogrammed sweater, blue monogrammed sweater, fleece, and jacket. The boys' uniforms include monogrammed khaki pants and short or long-sleeved navy blue polo shirt, blue sweatshirt, fleece, and jacket.
H O U S I N G
Students will be placed with carefully selected host families in and around the Jacksonville area. A local contact person will be appointed to supervise the student and the host family for the duration of the student’s stay in the United States.

Male Students attending BJS are able to participate in the following interscholastic sports: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.
Female students attending BJS are able to participate in the following interscholastic sports: Basketball, Competitive Cheerleading, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
