The Michigan High School is a Christian, college-preparatory, co-educational day school located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The High School mission is to provide an environment which are safe places of joy and nurture, places of guidance and direction. Students are taught to respect one another and develop through instruction discipline and spiritual growth. The School enrolls approximately 1065 students in grades 9-12 each academic year with 30 of those students being from countries outside the United States.

Grand Rapids, Michigan. Grand Rapids is about a half an hour from the shores of Lake Michigan. There is much to do in this city of 300,000 people. There are boating activities, cultural and shopping. Students can enjoy cold winters, and warm springs. There are about 144 days each year when the temperature drops below freezing. 300,000 inhabitants. There many things to do and see in this urban city. Summer and springs are mild with cool fall and cold winters.

Although there is no formal uniform required at the school, for both males and females, clothing must be appropriate, and in good repair. Top garments must be shoulder-covering, bottom garments must be at least mid-thigh length. Bare midriffs and exposed undergarments are not acceptable. Clothing which is suggestive, offensive, is prohibited. Hats may not be worn when the students are in the auditorium for worship.
H O U S I N G
Students attending the school will be placed with carefully selected host families in Grand Rapids and neighboring communities. A school coordinator will be appointed to oversee the student and the host family for the duration of the students? stay in the United States.
