The Indiana High School is a Catholic, co-educational, day school located in Mishawaka, Indiana. The Indiana High School community believes that educational excellence is achieved through a challenging curriculum taught by a competent, enthusiastic faculty who are supported by a capable staff. The Indiana High School takes into account the individual learning styles, interests and abilities of all students and also provides for developing these aspects of each student. The Indiana High School promotes an acceptance of each one’s identity and provides all with a challenge to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. The Indiana High School enrolls 325 students each year, with approximately 5 students being from countries outside of the USA.
L O C A T I O N
The Indiana High School is located in an ideal area for international students. The school is located less than 20 miles from the shores of Lake Michigan, which offers students the opportunity to experience wonderful beaches and exciting water sports and activities. The city of Chicago is only about 65 miles to the west. Chicago offers students the chance to experience the cultural and recreational opportunities offered in a big city
environment. Michigan City has a population of approximately 35,000.

The Indiana High School does not require students to wear official school uniforms, but does ask all students to dress in a neat, clean and appropriate manner. There are no Tennis or Sport Shoes allowed, students must wear loafers or tied dress shoes.
H O U S I N G
Students attending the Indiana High School will be placed with
carefully selected host families in and around the Mishawaka area. A local contact person will be
appointed to oversee the student and the host family for the duration of the student’s stay in the United States.
