The School is a independent, co-educational day school located in Coconut Creek, Florida. The School delivers students the preeminent college preparatory educational experience in Florida. NBPS exemplifies the "whole child approach" that is a hallmark of family schools by emphasizing the perfect balance of a strong academic program with a broad array of extracurricular activities, both within a learning framework that values local community involvement as well as multi-cultural and international experiences. The Schools believes that its mission is to provide students with a challenging and dynamic college preparatory program enriched by expansive opportunities in the arts, athletics, community service, environmental studies, travel study programs, and technology. The school enrolls 760 students each year with approximately 10 being from other countries than the United States.
L O C A T I O N
The school is located in Coconut Creek, which is only 20 miles north of Miami and 2 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean. Southeastern Florida is well known for its constant weather, never getting below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Students will experience a hot/warm fall, mild winter, warm/hot spring and hot summer. The school is located near many shopping malls and restaurants.

D R E S S C O D E
The schools dress code changes depending on the day and what is happening at school. The usual dress code is Slacks and or shorts for boys with an Oxford shirt and tie. Girls are asked to wear plaid skirts and a white blouse. As for non-dress days students are asked to wear a polo shirt and khaki pants.
H O U S I N G
Students attending the school will be placed with carefully selected host families in the Coconut Creek area. Or placed in the schools dormitories located on campus. A local contact person will be assigned to supervise the student during their stay in the United States.
